Action Television produces online videos for Callaway / Odyssey Golf featuring Dave Pelz

Action Television recently shot and edited a series of four tips along with product related videos for Odyssey Golf, a division of Callaway.  The videos feature legendary teacher Dave Pelz, well known for his short game schools and role as the coach of PGA Tour Pros such as Phil Mickelson.  The videos were recorded at Cordillera Short Course in Vail, Colorado at the Pelz Short Game School.

Each video was edited for use on a new website at Odysseygolf.com.  A video module feature Dave Pelz has been developed to help people with putting tips and suggestions.  In addition, four golf tip videos will also be available on the website.

“This is the second time we have been able to create golf tips with Mr. Pelz.  He and I have a great workflow and of course he is a world class professional making our job very easy.” says Action Television’s Michael Billingsley.

Increase Power in Your Drive Golf Tip Video

Increase Power in your drive with this golf tip from GOLF Magazine’s “Lighthorse” Harry Cooper in 1968. By making a level hip and shoulder turn at the top of your swing and eliminating it at the bottom you can ensure to get the most power out of your swing path. By making sure your hips bump into your forward foot and changing your center of gravity, this will cause the club to lag and create a whip-like motion.

GOLF Magazine’s Tom Stickney shows you how to fix your slice with a tip from Paul Segerlund from 1970. Make sure everything is parallel in alignment and then pre-cock your right hip backwards that allows the arms for an end to out swing path.

Improve Your Golf Swing Golf Tip Video

Top 100 Teacher Tom Stickney illustrates how imagining you are carrying a tray with your back swing hand will help to open up your shoulders. This will create the maximum shoulder turn you should use to get a full golf swing.

Get Tour Quality Balance in Your Golf Swing Golf Tip Video

GOLF Magazine’s Best Drill comes from Eric Alpenfels in 2004. Watch Tom Stickney as he demonstrates Alpenfels’ drill by putting your feet together you will get rhythm, balance and a nice solid release.
